PURE SOUL WELLNESS - THE RECIPES!


I love to talk about food and nutrition as it is so closely connected to our mental, emotion and spiritual (or conscious) growth, and yet so misunderstood by many individuals. In a society that has food advertising on every channel, in every magazine, bill-board, bus advertising and radio, it is very hard to ignore the constant onslaught of advertising directed at us on a daily basis. Making healthy food choices has become quite challenging when an array of "Western food chains" are available 24/7 and without us even thinking about it.


How do you get around this? By  getting in touch with your body and learning what makes you feel good. Most importantly, be willing to take small steps in the right direction knowing that over time you'll end up in a far happier and healthier place than possibly where you were headed. When I discuss food and nutrition with my clients and introduce new ideas and healthier options I always share the recipes that have helped and supported me on my health and wellness journey. I also encourage clients to give me their favourite recipe or food and I will create or share the best variation of it that supports health, vitality and happiness. I also encourage people to eat, breathe and live an organic lifestyle. Organic simply means 'from living matter'. You want to take as much living food into your body as you can! Life supports life! Choose organic where possible and know that your food has been cultivated with mindfulness to support health. The organic market is now gaining momentum so choosing organic is now more affordable and available than ever before.


Some of my recipes have specific measurements, but many are roughly estimated. Why? Because I want you to really indulge your senses and enjoy the preparation and cooking experience! Working with your food, testing and tasting all adds to the joy and love that we should feel when preparing our meal. Growing a healthy relationship with your body extends to a healthy relationship with food so putting some time aside to really enjoy the experience and experiment is always recommended.
